Launching the Support4Resilience Podcast

We are excited to introduce the first episode of Supporting Resilience in Healthcare, the new podcast from the Support4Resilience project—an EU-funded initiative dedicated to strengthening resilience and mental well-being in elderly care.

In this inaugural episode, host Shalini Frøiland speaks with Professor Siri Wiig, the project’s Principal Investigator, about the urgent challenges facing healthcare workers, caregivers, and sector leaders. From workforce shortages to burnout, they discuss the pressing need for practical
solutions to improve working conditions and mental well-being.

One of the key objectives of Support4Resilience is the development of the Support4Resilience Toolbox, an innovative toolkit designed to help healthcare leaders implement effective strategies for resilience and mental well-being. With a research-based approach tailored to various European contexts, this initiative aims to make a lasting impact through 2028 and beyond.

In this episode, you’ll also discover:

  • The story behind the creation of Support4Resilience and the team’s vision.
  • How international collaboration has been crucial to the project’s success.
  • What key outcomes and changes are expected in the coming years.
